BLACK HISTORY MONTH PROJECT
To celebrate black history month, each student is required to pick one African American and write a paragraph or two about their lives and contributions. The students can not use individuals that we have studied. (Thurgood Marshall, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., George Washington Carver, and Jackie Robinson) We know about these African Americans. Pick someone who we do not know much about. The format of the project is the picture is on top and the paragraph is on the bottom. It can be on poster board as long as it is in this format. The project is a test grade in History. It is due on February 22, 2010. We are looking forward to see all of your projects and displaying them in the hall. Mrs. Rawlings
